Description	vdR2-4 was established from V6.5 ES cell line (Eggan et al. PNAS 98, 6209-6214, 2001) that is a hybrid cell line derived from C57BL/6 x 129S4/SvJae F1 mice. Both alleles of the Bloom’s syndrome gene (Blm) locus were modified for tetracycline-dependent gene regulation. A 4-hydroxytamoxifen-regulatable Cre recombinase, ERT2-iCre-ERT2 (Casanova et al. Genesis 34, 208-214, 2002), was knocked into the Rosa26 locus for constitutive expression.
